1. What we collect
When you sign in, we collect your name, email address, and (if you use Google or Apple sign-in) the identifier your provider returns to us.
We collect basic usage information — which episodes you played, what you saved, what you followed — so the app can give you a personalized library and home feed.
We collect crash and performance data to fix problems with the app.
2. What we don't collect
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertising networks. We do not build a profile of you to sell elsewhere.
3. How we use your data
To run the app: showing you your library, your saved moments, your follows.
To improve the app: aggregating usage to understand what works and what doesn't.
To contact you about your account when we need to — we will not email you marketing without your consent.
4. Third parties
We use cloud infrastructure providers to host the app and database. We use a transcription/AI provider to generate transcripts and episode insights. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments.
5. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct something, or delete your account at any time. From the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. By email: support@foundrastudio.com.
When you delete your account, your data is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Some backups may persist for a short additional period before being overwritten.
6. Children
Podscape is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
7. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy in a material way, we will notify you in the app. The current version date is shown at the top of this page.
